Pibcremental Tier Lists

Building priority and prestige buff rankings for every stage of your tree.

Tier List Hub

Welcome to the Pibcremental Tier List Hub. Idle-incremental games reward clear priorities: which buildings deserve Pibs first, which upgrades pay for themselves before the next tree growth, and which permanent prestige buffs shorten every future run. This hub collects those rankings so you can skim a short answer, then open the deep pages when you are ready to optimize.

Pibcremental starts with Papa Pib and a tiny tree. You hatch Pibs, assign them to quirky buildings, click for burst production, buy passive upgrades, spend resources to grow the tree, and unlock new factories and events. Relics amplify buildings. Prestige resets the run for permanent buffs. That loop sounds simple until scrap, sap, silk, multiplier bars, and event timing all compete for the same attention. Tier lists exist to cut through that noise.

What these lists optimize for

Every ranking on this wiki uses the same practical goals:

  • Time to next tree growth — unlocking new buildings and resources usually beats hoarding a single currency.
  • Pib efficiency — workers assigned to the bottleneck resource matter more than even staffing everywhere.
  • Click and idle balance — strong active play should not collapse when you step away.
  • Prestige acceleration — permanent buffs that speed early scrap/sap or reduce tree costs compound across runs.
  • Event and relic readiness — buildings that feed events or benefit hard from relics climb in mid and late game.

We do not rank for meme challenge runs or speed-clear bragging rights unless noted. Default assumptions are a normal Steam single-player save with active clicking early and more idle play later.

Buildings Tier List

Priority rankings for production structures across early, mid, and late growth. Expect guidance on sap collectors, the Scrapyard, Battery staffing, silk and costume loops, and when multiplier-bar buildings deserve your hover clicks. Pair it with the Resources & Buildings guide when you need the full mechanic explanation behind a rank.

Prestige Buffs Tier List

Which permanent buffs to take first after a reset. Nature-path multipliers, tree cost cuts, starting tree level, click-chain buffs, and event or relic unlocks are sorted by how quickly they repay prestige points. Read it alongside the Prestige Guide before your first serious reset.

How to use a tier list without tunnel vision

  1. Identify your current bottleneck (usually sap for hatching/growth, then scrap for the next tree spend, then silk or event currencies).
  2. Check the matching stage section on the buildings list.
  3. Staff Pibs and spend upgrades on S and A priorities before polishing C-tier flavor buildings.
  4. When growth slows, open the Production Planner and decide whether to grow, hatch, upgrade, or prestige.
  5. After prestige, spend points using the prestige buffs order, then race back to the same bottlenecks with permanent help.

New players should start with Getting Started and Controls, then return here once the first tree growth and Scrapyard unlock feel familiar. Event and relic hunters can jump to Events & Relics after mid-game buildings appear. Patch changes that shuffle balance will be called out on the Updates Hub and Launch Notes.

Ranking legend

  • S — Take almost always; opens the rest of the run.
  • A — Excellent once the S picks are online.
  • B — Strong situational or stage-specific value.
  • C — Fine filler; buy when flush, not when stuck.
  • D — Niche, late luxury, or easily delayed.

Ranks can shift after balance patches. When Arcane Cabinet changes costs or relic math, we revise the child pages first and keep this hub as the map.

Community and verification

Tier opinions improve when players compare notes. Official channels and discussion links live on the Community Links page. If a Steam news post or Discord announcement changes early scrap ratios or prestige trees, cross-check Codes and Updates before treating an old rank as gospel.

Use this hub as your decision dashboard: buildings when the tree is growing, prestige buffs when you are about to reset, and the planner tool when you are unsure which lever to pull next.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Pibcremental progression, prestige, and resources.

Do these tier lists apply to the first prestige?

Yes for early and mid sections. Late-game ranks assume you already have a few permanent buffs and understand events. First-prestige players should prioritize the S-tier early buildings and the top prestige buff picks.

Will ranks change after patches?

They can. Balance tweaks to tree costs, relic chances, or prestige paths will move entries. Check the Updates Hub after major patches and re-read the child tier pages.

Should I ignore C and D buildings completely?

No. Buy them when you are resource-rich or when a relic makes a weak building spike. Just do not staff your last Pibs there while sap or scrap is the bottleneck.

Where should beginners go before reading tiers?

Start with Getting Started and Resources & Buildings, then use the Buildings Tier List once you unlock the Scrapyard and your first growth spend.
